SIFALACS Student Government Association
The SIFA Student Government Association is a group of elected volunteer students that work with an advisor to promote the general welfare of the student body.
Membership:

SIFALACS National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is one of the nation’s premier organization established to recognize middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the area of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must meet the 5 Pillars of NJHS

Academic Challenge Bowl (ACB)
The Academic Challenge Bowl (ACB) is a fast-paced program crafted as a question & answer competition. It is an activity that is educational and intellectual with a meaningful opportunity to represent their school in an interscholastic setting.
Membership:
- Open to all students (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must meet at least B or higher GPA
- Must meet all the criterion/guidelines set by the club advisor
- Mindset of a winner

MATHCOUNTS
MATH COUNTS helps build student confidence and improve attitudes towards Math and problem-solving. A club focused on exposing students to a higher level of Mathematics.
Membership:
- Open registration, where students must sign up before the set deadline
- Students who join must be able to maintain a good learning attitude and behavior
- Be able to handle a higher level of Mathematics

National History Day (NHD)
A year-long curriculum program for students in grades 6-8. Its methodology includes extensive primary and secondary research into a topic of choice related to an annual theme. A project-based learning experience, which pulls together Common Core Standards for ELA, Social Studies, Science, and Technical Subjects.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)

Robotics Club First Lego League (FLL)
The Robotics Club/FLL gather interested students to prepare and be ready for the upcoming First Lego League competition. Members will be grouped into teams, building a programmable robot using the EV3 Mindstorms Lego Kits.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must not be failing in class
- Must meet a C or better GPA
- Screenings/Tryouts to become a team representative for the First Lego League Competition

Digital Elite
Using audio and visual equipment, students will create content that will showcase creativity, communication, and responsibility. Students will use design, videography, and photography skills to capture school events, stories, and community work that will be shared on social media platforms and will allow participants to enter competition.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must not be failing in class
- Must meet a C or better GPA

Science Club
Science Club will offer students a chance to engage in fun and stimulating scientific investigations, creating and implementing “Go Green” initiatives in our school.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Students MUST have a scientific curiosity and a desire to better our environment.

Manta Rays Dance Troupe
The Troupe is designed to provide opportunities for all aspiring students develop and enhance their dancing skills in any genre of music. (e.g. hip hop, jazz, Latin, modern, ballroom, and the like.)
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must be performing at a letter grade average of C or higher
- Must meet all the requirements / guidelines provided by the club adviser

Junior Counselor Club
The purpose of the Junior Counselor Club is to help guide its members to be positive role-models, whose jobs are to help promote values such as kindness, positivity, and support, in addition to learning skills such as proper conflict resolution amongst their peers.
Membership:
- Open to all grade levels (6th, 7th, 8th)
- Must be performing at a letter grade average of C or higher
- Must not have more than two major offenses during each quarter
- Must meet all the requirements / guidelines provided by the club advisers.
